GdS: What Donnarumma has told his teammates about the future and Milan renewal

Milan are working hard to renew the contract of Gigio Donnarumma, having put a hefty offer on the table, but no agreement has been reached. Therefore, the goalkeeper could leave for free in the summer.

Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara haven’t given up hope on the renewal and are waiting for a signal from Donnarumma. As was reported by Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews) this morning, they have put €8m per year on the table for the youngster.

In the meantime, as the newspaper continues (via Calciomercato), Donnarumma has told his Milan teammates that he wants to stay at the club. However, the negotiations between the management and Mino Raiola have been far from smooth.

Once we get towards the end of May, at the latest, the No.99 will have to make a proper decision on his future as Milan will be moving on if he wants to leave. A lot can happen before then, though.
