GdS: What the Gazidis-Boban row means for Ibrahimovic’s future at AC Milan

By Oliver Fisher -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been left perplexed by the row among the AC Milan management which could see him leave the club, a report claims.

Boban’s recent interview is what appears to have lit the touch paper, as he hit out at CEO Ivan Gazidis by stating that the former Arsenal man went behind their backs when initiating contacts with Ralf Rangnick.

As we reported earlier on Monday, the Croatian is now set to leave the club with Elliott Management having reached the decision to fire him.

According to the latest from La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), the possible farewell of Maldini and Boban puts Ibrahimovoic’s Milan future at risk.

The paper claims that the Swede is perplexed about a possible Milan without Maldini and Boban at the club, as the pair had already started talks over his renewal. In addition, he has doubts about the project that Elliott Management are trying to carry out, and as such he could leave.
