GdS: Why Kalulu remains unconvinced by the idea of joining Juventus

Juventus have been trying to convince Pierre Kalulu to leave AC Milan and join them for a few days now, but it seems as though he has not been won over yet.

As we reported exclusively a few days ago, just when it looked as though Kalulu’s move to Juventus would be pushed through very quickly, there has been a slowdown in the negotiations and it is down to the player himself.

Today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) has offered an update on the negotiations that could see Kalulu swap red and black for black and white, given that there is a deal already in place between the clubs.

Indeed, the Bianconeri have already reached an agreement with Milan on the basis of a paid loan with an option to buy, but the green light from the Frenchman is still missing. He has asked for the weekend to make a decision, and the fact there has not yet been a positive response worries Juve.

The formula of the deal is one of the doubts that Kalulu reportedly has about the operation because would have preferred to start a new chapter in Turin with a permanent transfer or even a loan with an obligation to buy .

In recent days, Kalulu was called by the Juventus head coach Thiago Motta who strongly wants him given his versatility as a centre-back and right-back, but La Gazzetta imply that the conversation did not have the desired effect.
