A new target has emerged in AC Milan’s pursuit of a midfielder as Aster Vranckx of Wolfsburg is attracting their interest, a report claims.
According to a report from Luca Bianchin of La Gazzetta dello Sport on Twitter, the Rossoneri have added Vranckx to their list of midfield targets together with Raphael Onyedika of FC Midtjylland and Jean Onana of Bordeaux.
The 19-year-old Vranckx played 24 games in the Bundesliga for Wolfsburg last season, scoring twice, having joined in summer 2021 from Belgian side Mechelen where he was in the academy.
The teenager is a Belgium U21 international and could become the latest Belgian to join the Rossoneri after Alexis Saelemaekers, Divock Origi and Charles De Ketelaere. He also has Champions League experience having made four appearances in the competition in 2021-22.
He plays predominantly as a box-to-box midfielder and has a current market valuation of around €10.6m as per Transfermarkt.
