GdS: Worlds collide as Fenerbahce make offer for player who is waiting for Milan

AC Milan have identified Nicolas Dominguez as a potential replacement for Rade Krunic, who has been linked with Fenerbahce. However, the Turkish side have now also tabled an offer for the Bologna man.

Fenerbahce are keen on securing the services of Krunic and have already reached an agreement with the player. As was reported by Gazzetta Dello Sport this morning, Milan have also lowered the price tag to around €10m.

According to the same newspaper (see photo below), Fenerbahce have also tabled an offer worth €13m for Dominguez. The Bologna midfielder, however, is waiting for Milan and has thus not opened up to the move yet.

Two worlds have collided, in other words, and the departure of Krunic would likely unblock the matter. The Bosnian still has two years left on his contract and Milan don’t need to sell him, but the player’s will could be decisive in the negotiations.

In the meantime, Milan will face Monza this evening and Krunic will play from the first minute. Stefano Pioli still considers him a very important player for the Rossoneri and would like to keep him.

  1. Fernbache are deliberately trying to mess this up knowing full well about Milan’s interest in Dominguez. So they went after him to hike the price as Milan are requesting 10+ for Krunic.

    1. Nope, Fener wanted Dominguez since the beginning. They actually want to sign both. If Fener signs Krunic, and us signing Dominguez would mean Fener would look for alternatives for Dominguez. They consider Krunic for number 6 role, while Dominguez for number 8. These are the departments they must fill in urgently.

    1. Lmaooooo what? Dominguez doesn’t even want to move to Turkey. They have been linked to him longer than we have. If Dominguez wanted to move to turkey, this move would have already been done.

  2. That wasteful Pioli must be sacked. I don’t know what he has seen in this low performing Rade Krunic. Why do you waste time on a Bosnian under fired man whiles a succulent and vibrant Argentine player sits like that.

  3. The coach is just flogging a dead horse. Krunic himself knows that the guys that have come in are better than him, and that limits his playing time. He would also be the odd man out if he keeps making those mistakes he does, in this new Milan. Only fear I have is concerning the management; they don’t seem to be looking in the direction of Dominguez. He could turn down Fenerbahce, and still not get the Milan approach he is hoping for.

  4. TBH…i havent watched domiguez play, but i have watched krunic play severally last season…he is not the biggest of profiles, but he is handy, he even played the position of CAM when brahim was having a poor run of form. i dont know if half the guys criticizing this guy even watch milan matches and see him play. if domiguez is better than krunic, i would be excited to have him.

  5. Dominguez doesn’t want to move to Turkey. Some people here are fooling themselves. This move would have been done a while ago if he did. Fenerbahce sold Guler and several others.
