GdS: Worlds collide as Fenerbahce make offer for player who is waiting for Milan

AC Milan have identified Nicolas Dominguez as a potential replacement for Rade Krunic, who has been linked with Fenerbahce. However, the Turkish side have now also tabled an offer for the Bologna man.

Fenerbahce are keen on securing the services of Krunic and have already reached an agreement with the player. As was reported by Gazzetta Dello Sport this morning, Milan have also lowered the price tag to around €10m.

According to the same newspaper (see photo below), Fenerbahce have also tabled an offer worth €13m for Dominguez. The Bologna midfielder, however, is waiting for Milan and has thus not opened up to the move yet.

Two worlds have collided, in other words, and the departure of Krunic would likely unblock the matter. The Bosnian still has two years left on his contract and Milan don’t need to sell him, but the player’s will could be decisive in the negotiations.

In the meantime, Milan will face Monza this evening and Krunic will play from the first minute. Stefano Pioli still considers him a very important player for the Rossoneri and would like to keep him.
