GdS: Probable XIs for Salernitana vs. Milan – only one change from Samp win

By Isak Möller -

There have been contradicting reports in the last few days regarding the starting XI of AC Milan for tonight’s clash against Salernitana. By the looks of it, Stefano Pioli has decided to make just one change.

Given that the Rossoneri have won three games on the bounce, you can understand why the manager is reluctant to many changes. Theo Hernandez was suspended against Sampdoria and will be back from start, but that was expected.

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport (see photo below), it’s the only change that Pioli will make as Junior Messias and Brahim Diaz have won the battle against Alexis Saelemaekers and Franck Kessie respectively. And it’s hard to argue against it.

It’s been six days since the game against Sampdoria and thus Milan have been able to take it easy, recouping some energy ahead of the clash tonight. Many changes to the starting XI were never expected, therefore.
