GdS: Probable XIs for Sampdoria vs. Milan – Pioli rotates as Kjaer starts

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan will face Sampdoria this evening and Stefano Pioli has decided to make some changes to the starting XI. Understandable, given that the Rossoneri’s schedule is incredibly packed and the players also need rest.

The Rossoneri managed to get a 1-1 draw away at Salzburg and will be hoping to build on the win against Inter this evening, increasing their domestic tally with another three points. Indeed, they are the clear favourites to win.

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport (see photo below), Pioli will most likely make four changes to the XI we saw mid-week. Simon Kjaer will replace Fikayo Tomori at the back, while Tommaso Pobega will get the chance in the middle.

Junior Messias will start on the right, while Divock Origi will be the man leading the line in attack this evening. Both of them need to prove a point after receiving some criticism at the start of this season. UPDATE: Origi is injured and has not travelled with the team.
