GdS: Probable XIs for Torino vs. Milan – Diaz and Origi to start

By Isak Möller -

Stefano Pioli is expected to make quite a few changes to the starting XI for AC Milan’s clash against Torino this evening. Brahim Diaz, who has recovered from his minor injury, will be back from the first minute.

The Rossoneri secured a big 4-0 win against Dinamo Zagreb and their hopes of making it through to the Champions League knockout phase thus lives. For now, however, they will have to shift focus to a tough away clash against Torino.

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport (see photo below), Pioli will make five changes to the starting XI. Fikayo Tomori is back from suspension and will partner up with Matteo Gabbia, who got on the scoresheet last time out.

Tommaso Pobega will give Ismael Bennacer some rest and Junior Messias will replace Ante Rebic on the right flank. In the No.10 role, Diaz will get a chance to shine against as Charles De Ketelaere continues to struggle.

Up front, Divock Origi will play from the first minute after impressing lately. Olivier Giroud will be rested for the Salzburg game.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Tatarusanu; Kalulu, Gabbia, Tomori, Theo Hernandez; Tonali, Pobega; Messias, Diaz, Leao; Origi.
