By Euan Burns -

Kevin Zeroli has become the fourth young player of the season to make their senior debut for AC Milan after he was introduced from the bench against Sassuolo in the final game of 2023.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the 18-year-old midfielder joins Davide Bartesaghi, Jan-Carlo Simic and Francesco Camarda to have made their debuts under Stefano Pioli in the 2023/24 campaign.

Given Zeroli’s distinctive hairstyle, Milan fans have found it hard not to immediately draw comparisons between the youngster and former Milan midfielder Ruud Gullit.

He made his debut with Marco van Basten, Franco Baresi Mauro Tassotti all in the stands. He was in great company for a day that has been long in the making as he has been part of the club since he was a child.

He has been the captain of the Primavera side this season and is rated very highly by Ignazio Abate. He has got five goals and two assists so far this season and has shown himself to be an excellent dribbler with the ball.

The debut was in the offing as he was on the bench against both Bologna and Salernitana, whilst he was also watched closely during the pre-season tour in the USA.
