GdS: Zirkzee wants Milan move but his agent is causing problems – the details

Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee would like to join AC Milan this summer but the fees being requested by his agents are slowing the process down.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Rossoneri are set on trying to make Zirkzee the replacement for Olivier Giroud but there is a stumbling block that has to be addressed.

There is no problem when it comes to Zirkzee’s desire to join Milan, as he has been clear that he wants to stay in Italy and take the next step in Serie A.

There is also no problem with Milan paying Bologna, as the €40m release clause is one that the Rossoneri are happy to meet without any negotiation.

The problem is Kia Joorabchian, Zirkzee’s primary agent. He is asking for a €15m commission to make the move happen, a figure that Milan are not willing to pay. The assumption is that the agent knows Milan are getting a bargain with that release clause, so is attempting to receive more money for making it happen.

If Milan and Zirkzee stand firm, the agent is likely to relent on his position and then the move will go through. Milan ar expected to pay the release clause on July 1, when it becomes active for 15 days.

  1. Blood sucking agents are really ruining for many young talents, he should be looking for the players best interests and not the other way around but hey… That’s how the world works nowadays

    1. They kneeled on Leao last summer, paying 20M€ nonsense to sporting, a player who doesn’t stand out in big match, poor at shooting at passing, a player in other teams never get an insurance of all time starting spot.

They can do it for a player of Zirkzee caliber

      1. Zirkzee caliber? What caliber?

12 goals and 7 assist caliber?

Meanwhile Leao already get 1 Serie A MVP, have 25+ goal contribution for 3 seasons running. He is like it or not, a big factor in our game.

FYI CDK Agent get 2.8m, RLC agent get 1m fee. Most Milan players agent get less than 1m fee for transfer. That’s how much it should be. Agent fee shouldn’t exceed 5m – and that 5m should be reserved for those mega buck transfer.

  2. Getting a bargain for that release clause? I don’t see half of Europe jumping to activate it. It is still very much a gamble, although I hope it goes through because he’s the one most wanted by our technical department

    1. Yeah it’s a good point, if he’s so good and the price is so low why is everyone fighting over Sesko and ignoring Zirkzee. Also no Zirkzee call-up for the Netherlands for the Euros either, and they don’t have amazing players upfront

  3. Just fire the agents, nowdays players forgot that agents work for them and not the other way around. Also UEFA should make some rules about this parasites called agents, they shouldn’t be allowed to request more than 5% comision form the transfer amount.

  4. It’s important to note here that this man is not a registered agent. He calls himself an advisor. Therefore he is not bound by any rules.
He is a criminal who has been in trouble with the law all over the world.
He represents Oligarchs and other criminals who want to launder money.
If I were the Milan directors I would explain to the player that we want him but will not deal with that person. So either he walks away or we do

Let’s not waste time on this drama

  5. Just fire the agents, nowdays players forgot that agents work for them and not the other way around. Also UEFA should make some rules about this parasites called agents, they shouldn’t be allowed to request more than 5% comision form the transfer amount

  6. Like honestly? Can’t he fire the agent and get someone who will get the job done with no fuss?

    This some next lvl bS

    1. Seems to show lack of character. What a pu55y. Man up FFS and go where YOU want to and not get dictated by some money-hoarding wh0re.

  7. Just a few days ago Lukaku said he has never had an agent and does everything by himself. I think he has done well without a blood, ehm, money-sucking leech by his side.

      1. Meh. He only made 2 mistakes. First one was leaving United. Second one was leaving Inter. But for the inter part who knows what pressure he was under to make the move

  8. I think milan management can try backup striker Fotis Ioannidis because he very strong and good talent very young 24 year old. remember like sheva

  9. More GDS bs! As if Zirkzee is powerless to prevent his agent from asking for the commission! He simply fires him.

  10. I think many people either forget or don’t realize that the commissions are paid to agents by the clubs. It doesn’t cost a player anything really to have an agent who negotiates their income.

Now if a player is involved in the proceedings, then they should be able to dictate where they would prefer to go. But even Raiola would tell Ibra where he would go next…

These cats are more influential than we give them credit for.
