In that meeting, Allegri made several things clear, including his desire to have more of a say in the mercato. So, it is not really a surprise that information is coming out about certain targets that the club wants.

According to Calciomercato.com, the club are not stopping at the signing of Gila. Indeed, they want at least one more central defender to join him in the defensive ranks and Victor Valdepenas’ name has been suggested.
As a youngster, he would not demand as much gametime, so it could work for his development. However, the deal may not be tailored in their favour, which could be a stopping point. His name is not the only one taking the Rossoneri’s fancy, though.
As reported earlier, Marseille’s Argentine defender Leo Balerdi is also of interest, but the €30 million price tag may be slightly high. Perhaps if a senior option left, there would be wiggle room in the budget for another quality addition, rather than a youngster.
