Santiago Gimenez’s agent has effectively confirmed that her client will remain at AC Milan with a post on social media.
Gimenez has been at the centre of a deadline day storm, with reports claiming that he could join AS Roma as part of an exchange that would see Artem Dovbyk come the other way. However, nothing ever seemed to be close, and now time has almost run out on the swap.

Gimenez’s agent said just a couple of days ago that her client will not be leaving Milan before the window closes, stating: “Gimenez isn’t going anywhere. All the rumours that have emerged, from the first to the last, are untrue. They’re fake news.”
Now, Rafaela Pimenta has posted on her Instagram profile, quoting a line from a famous Milan song which translates to ‘Because we support you’. It seems that El Bebote will be remaining beyond the 20:00 CEST deadline.

Good, even though I’m not his biggest fan but swapping him for another dead meat of a striker from Roma would have been another disaster class
Seems like he really got that inner motivation to proof his worth. Which is good. Let’s hope that he’ll find his momentum.
Classy club Milan.
Still don’t miss Maldini?
Poor Santi, I hope he can get past this trauma they have put him through.
Juventus just signed OPENDA! wow. he would have been perfect
Harder gone to Leipzig, he looks a talent. I’m sorry we did not get him.
I still remember those rosey days where we were getting harder and vlahovic was coming too LOL
According to Danish media yesterday then Harder also refused Chelsea so guess he isn’t as bad as some people around here thought. I would personally gladly have seen him in AC Milan but in the end if I have to look at it with my native eyes its probably for the best of my national team as Leipzig is an ideal place for young talents.
Chelsea is buying players they don’t need all the time. But he is a good player, I’d rather have him signed than Nkunku but it is what it is.
They sure do. Well I would argue that they are rather different types of players as Harder is somewhat bigger and stronger. Nkunku isn’t really my choice but if he can stay fit and find his old form he could also be a great deal but that’s a big if.
You’re right, he is in the best place for his development.
Well done to him for choosing wisely.
I guess what we have done to Santi will be heard loud and wide
Bravo 🙏💪
If we’re not bringing an upgrade it’s for the best. Hopefully he can get on a level with his teammates now and pick up the link up play. Needs to stop doing silly sh!t like not coming back onside when we’re on the ball
Honestly am happy he’s staying…I still believe in him. He just needs supports.
Agree, he has it in him. In the last two games he put the ball in the net twice. The first against Cremonese was actually a great goal. He might be the heir to Pippo….
Well there goes that rumor lol. Idiotic Italian media making things up and people on here believing. The agent just set things straight – NONE OF IT WAS TRUE! Santi wasn’t mistreated or anything – funny some believed the stories.
Thanks God we still keep Santi Gimenez in the squad,
Definitely he will score, with Leao+Pulisic Rabiot+Modric together when they are all fit…
Let’s pray this will work every gameweek…
Llegó a media temporada y marcó, ahora empezó la temporada y ha estado cerca, a_pesar de que el Milán no genera muchas oportunidades, vamos Santi debes aprovechar y demostrar… Forza Milan… Forza Santi
