After his surgery, Santiago Gimenez has posted a message to AC Milan fans to show that he is ready to recover and get going again.
The whole debacle surrounding Gimenez’s injury has been a weird one. Massimiliano Allegri has been really cautious with any knocks, so the fact that Gimenez revealed his own issue was strange in itself. Then, there is the duration issue.

Initially, it seemed he would miss a few weeks. Now, almost two months on, he is scheduled to spend another two months on the sidelines.
Whether he will return for Milan or someone else is a question in its own right, too. In the past week, there have been suggestions that he will look for solutions with his agent, but nothing is a given at this moment.

On Instagram, following his surgery, he posted a message to the supporters, letting them know he would be back soon.
“Everything turned out really well!! Thank you very much everyone for your support, your love and your messages.
“Now it’s time to get back to 100% with a lot of work and a lot of discipline to get back on track. We will be stronger than ever, see you soon!!
