AC Milan could well invest in a striker during the next summer transfer window, and Santiago Gimenez of Feyenoord is a name worth monitoring.
As Calciomercato.com report, Gimenez has put his injuries behind him and has started scoring consistently again. Yesterday he scored three goals between the 32nd and 45th minutes, allowing Feyenoord to beat Heracles easily.
Adter 23 goals in 30 Eredivisie appearances last season, he has already scored six in eight games this season. He is a centre-forward who lives for goals and has a sense of positioning that often means he is in the right place at the right times.
Last summer, before finalising the loan signing of Tammy Abraham, Milan tried for Gimenez. However, the little left in the window and the high demands of Feyenoord caused Geoffrey Moncada’s idea to vanish.
On the other hand, Nottingham Forest had seen an offer close to €40m rejected because the Rotterdam club wanted €50m. Now Santi is back and sending messages to Milan, contacts with his agent father have remained constant over the last few weeks.
Paulo Fonseca likes him a lot, and so he remains a target for next summer. The messages have arrived at Milan, while Gimenez continues to score goals in bunches.
what usually happens in situations like this is that at the end inter buy a player and we skip
He’s not worth half that.
And Milan isn’t paying that much for a player anyway.
Thank cthulhu in this case.
A lot of players nit worth of half what they cost but good players in his position are rare in
today’s football.
Not really. Good players in that position are everywhere. We have 2 atm.
Great players in that position are rare.
And he is neither.
Fonzy should rather worry about his azz
Moncada is a clown ….fire him asap….
Moncada = clown, ibra = muppet and fonseca shouldnt be buying players for next year, as he surely will not last
