Max Allegri signed a contract with AC Milan on Thursday evening and according to a report, there will be no bonuses for qualifying for the Champions League.

Milan moved quickly to secure the signature of Allegri, who now has completed his return after winning the Scudetto with the Rossoneri in 2010-11. A lot has changed since, so it will be a challenge for the manager to turn things around still, but there is confidence.
According to Il Giornale this morning, as cited by MilanNews, Milan and Allegri agreed on a Scudetto bonus in the contract. In other words, if the Rossoneri were to lift the trophy, then the manager would get a lump sum for the achievement (although the figures were not revealed).
The contract is initially a two-year deal worth €5m per season, but Milan also have the option to extend it for an additional two years. Whether Allegri is actually viewed as a long-term solution remains to be seen, but in the event of success, it would surely be hard not to keep him.
A big clue can also be found in the fact that Allegri has already given his say on mercato matters, with the Rossoneri keen on adapting the team to his playing style. That’s not something you tend to do with a manager who’s only expected to stay for a season.
It should also be noted that in the last eleven years, since Allegri left the first time, Milan have had a whopping eleven coaches. They desperately need stability, in other words, and the hope is that the experienced manager can provide this.
