Giornale: Why Krunic continues to be left out by Pioli

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli continues to leave Rade Krunic out of his plans, and the reason for this is transfer-related according to a report.

According to Il Giornale (via MilanNews), Krunic is very much available to Pioli and he does not have any kind of even injury, but he is no longer being put on the field by the head coach despite being a central point of the plans at the start of the season.

The paper claims that the Bosnian midfielder remains sat on the bench and is never used because he is considered to be leaving for Turkey in January. Already in the summer, Fenerbahçe had done everything to try to snatch him from Milan, but never reached an agreement over a transfer fee.

Now the Istanbul club are ready to try again and the player seems inclined to accept a move there because he would earn much more than what he receives now with the Rossoneri.

However, it will be necessary to find an economic agreement between the two clubs because the Milan management have no intention of accepting less than fair value for the midfielder.

  1. Well Adli isn’t playing either. Explain that too. I have a STRONG feeling management told him to field the new purchases during their 2 hour meeting. Since then, we haven’t seen much of both of them and more of RLC, Reijnders and Musah haven’t we? 🤔
