Olivier Giroud doubled AC Milan’s lead against Marseille at the Stade Velodrome on Sunday evening with a low finish from the edge of the box.
The Frenchman made it 2-0 on the half-hour mark to the Rossoneri as he held his run on the edge and received the ball after a good run from Junior Messias. The ball was pulled back and he calmly slotted into the bottom corner.
It was Brazilian attacker Messias who had made it 1-0 earlier in the game as he placed a wonderful shot into the top corner with his weaker left foot.
