Olivier Giroud was not at Milanello for training yesterday but a positive update has arrived today regarding his condition, a report claims.
According to what is being reported by MilanNews, Giroud yesterday felt some fever and did not come in to the training centre, but today he returned to Milanello, carrying out a workout in the gym with the other players who have undergone specific exercises indoors.
It is certainly good news for head coach Stefano Pioli given how important a resource Giroud has been for him in the last few weeks. He has started every single game since Zlatan Ibrahimovic limped off during the 0-0 draw with Juventus in January.
With the Swede now back in contention and Ante Rebic also back to full fitness following a lengthy lay-off, Pioli will be hoping to have all of his attacking options firing into the last nine league games of the season.
