Some good news has arrived regarding the condition of Olivier Giroud as the striker will return to training tomorrow at Milanello.
Giroud was forced off during the second half of the win over Napoli yesterday having sustained a sprained ankle, that coming after he got a gash on his calf in the first half. It forced him to leave prematurely causing worries that he might be out for some time.
As Sky Italia report (via SempreMilan.it), the Frenchman should return to training regularly with the rest of the Milan squad and he will take advantage of the rest day granted by Pioli to the team to rest. The 35-year-old ‘is really well’ and there seems to be no doubt about his presence at Milanello tomorrow and therefore in Saturday’s match against Empoli.
He showed up Casa Milan to buy some shirts and he was asked by a fan: ‘Shall we win the Scudetto?’ to which he replied ‘Yes, of course’.
