AC Milan are strongly considering appointing Oliver Glasner to be their next head coach and it may not matter who else joins.
There are plenty of questions about who will follow Massimiliano Allegri in the Milan technical area and Glasner feels like a fantastic candidate. Indeed, Gerry Cardinale views him highly, thanks to his modern play style, as well as his experience across Europe.

Glasner’s arrival possible without Rangnick
According to reports, Glasner prepared ‘thoroughly’ for his meeting with Cardinale, running him through the squad and his ideas and Tuttosport reports that it is this reason exactly why he is so well thought of internally.
Indeed, he believes that he could work well with the foundations already in place, given that the 3-4-2-1 shape is not too different from what has been used this season. As a result, there would be no major overhaul needed in the mercato, though there would still be movements made.
Ralf Rangnick would also heavily appreciate his arrival and he appears to have already agreed with Gerry Cardinale on him being the number one candidate. However, if Rangnick is not to arrive for whatever reason, it would not be the end of Glasner’s chances.
Whilst not his primary candidate, Ramon Planes – who himself is not the priority – would also be happy to work with the Austrian.
Time is ticking. Were already behind
Mateta, Brahim Diaz, Gila, Grimaldo all have until 2027; too good of an opportunity which we are wasting. after these would only need one more CAM to replace Leao. 40M that we got from loan sales, 60M from Leao and just with these we can cover the 4. final player can always be bargained for loan+option.
Glasner and Ragnick are by far the best pair we have been linked to since Scudetto.

one of Zeroli, Comotto, Bondo will get a chance.
double-pivot is most stacked; we need to fix attack now. Diaz, another CAM and Mateta fix that. Gila and Grimaldo are also more important due to depth. in midfield we have plenty of alternatives.
Ardon and Ricci don’t exactly instill confidence to put it mildly. What if Rabiot leaves too which is very likely to happen? What if Fofana is sold? It’s not guaranteed that we are going to play in 4-2-3-1 formation. We need a right back as well but I don’t see what MM has to do with all this. RB, DC (1-2), LB, MC (2+), 2 SC, we need at least six or seven new players and I didn’t even write (and didn’t even count them) about the wingers.
One more thing, we needed a (new) midfielder even before this debacle and before Modric’s (most probable) departure and his retirement, things have changed now and we need at least! one MC + Comotto/Zeroli and/or Bondo/Musah because I don’t believe we’ll play with only two midfielders and a AMC, 4-3-3 (or sticking to this 3-5-2) is somehow more likely. Maybe I’m wrong about this, of course, anything is possible here.
Maybe without Rangnick but I seriously doubt he joins without knowing who the other pieces are.
Je préfère encore et toujours Jaissle en lieu et place de Glasner. Ce système à 3 défenseurs ne m’enchante pas du tout. Je souhaite qu’on joue en 4-2-3-1 ou directement un 4-3-3
