Goal: Latest on Milan’s pursuit of Chelsea duo Hakim Ziyech and Tiemoue Bakayoko

AC Milan are more likely to secure the return of Tiemoue Bakayoko than they are to sign Hakim Ziyech from Chelsea, a journalist has claimed.

According to Goal.com’s Chelsea journalist Nizaar Kinsella (via MilanNews), Milan’s pursuit of Ziyech is ‘complicated’ as Chelsea do not want to lose him for little money given they paid €40m to Ajax for him last summer. Even if he has had some problems with Thomas Tuchel, he has many years of contract left and this strengthen’s Chelsea’s stance.

Even if Milan try to loan him, the Rossoneri will still need to pay money for a loan, so at the moment it seems that Milan are more likely to take Tiemoue Bakayoko back when it comes to operations with the Blues after Tomori and Giroud.

He has only one year of contract left, he wants to leave and not renew and he is pushing to return to the Rossoneri.
