Goal: Milan express interest but Real Madrid man wants to stay in Spain

By Isak Möller -

One of AC Milan’s priorities this summer is to reinforce the attacking trio with a No.10, seeing as Franck Kessie has left the club. Once again, the name of Dani Ceballos has emerged as an option for the Rossoneri.

The Spanish midfielder, who made just eleven league appearances for Real Madrid this past season, has been linked with Milan before. The Rossoneri have expressed their interest yet again, as per Goal, looking for an attacking midfielder.

Ceballos wants to remain in Spain, though, and has put Real Betis at the top of his wish list if he were to leave the Bernabeu side this summer. However, Milan have excellent relations with Real Madrid and thus a move cannot be ruled out.

The price tag is €15-20m but the feeling is that the Rossoneri have other players in mind, such as Hakim Ziyech and Charles De Ketelaere. It remains to be seen what Maldini and Massara will do, now close to renewing with the club.
