Goal: Mourinho charm works as €30m Milan outcast chooses Spurs over Chelsea, Man Utd

By Oliver Fisher -

Spurs have been given a huge boost in their pursuit of Krzysztof Piatek as the striker wants the move to north London, a report claims.

According to Goal, Piatek wants a move to Tottenham after being ‘impressed with the offer they put to him’ after it was claimed by Sport.pl that Jose Mourinho had a video call with the striker yesterday morning, in an attempt to convince him to join the club.

The report adds that Spurs have not yet agreed the terms of a potential deal, but that Piatek has already rejected Roma as he has his heart set on joining up with Mourinho.

Goal add that Chelsea and Manchester United had also been offered Piatek by agent Pini Zahavi.

Milan are reportedly asking for €30million obligation to buy at the end of a six-month loan deal but Spurs wish to negotiate themselves a better deal.

In addition, the outlet states that Daniel Levy has asked if paying a higher loan fee up front could allow them to make it an option to buy rather than an obligation, though the plan still is to sign Piatek permanently in the summer.
