El Gol Digital: Milan showed interest in Juventus star but baulked at €65m price

AC Milan evaluated a summer move for Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic but were put off by the asking price, according to a report.

El Gol Digital have published a report which focuses on the background involving Vlahovic and Real Madrid, given the Serbia international was a target for the attack despite the presence of Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo Goes and Joselu.

Vlahovic had expressed his desire to leave Juventus and ‘teams like AC Milan or Tottenham Hotspur’ showed interest, but the former Fiorentina man waited until the last second for a call from Los Blancos which ultimately never came.

Real Madrid decided not to go for Vlahovic despite agreeing with his €65m valuation, while they also decided against the idea of pursuing a move for Romelu Lukaku who ended up at Roma.

Instead, Carlo Ancelotti appears to have full confidence in Joselu who he thinks will be able to surprise everyone and be a key player in Real Madrid’s attack.
