No Gomez despite Guehi
So, today, the move came to a halt, with the Rossoneri leaving their pursuit of the defender, due to the delay in finalising things. However, with Guehi’s move to the Merseyside outfit being given the ‘Here we go’ by Fabrizio Romano, questions started to be asked about a move being revived.
Nevertheless, it seems that this will not be the case. Luca Bianchin, in the past few minutes, reports that the English defender ‘will not join’ the Rossoneri this summer.
The move was rejected by Liverpool this morning, and despite Guehi’s soon-to-be arrival, there will be no changes in their stance. It is a good thing, then, that a move has been made for David Odogu, given they would have been left red-faced, had they waited it out for Gomez.
