While pushing to try and get a deal for Ardon Jashari over the line, AC Milan are thinking about trying to sign Javi Guerra from Valencia as well.
Calciomercato.com confirms that Samuele Ricci is on the way, while Igli Tare is working on Jashari and is not giving up on the Guerra idea. Contacts are continuing with the entourage of the Spanish midfielder, who has a renewal offer on the table.

Milan convinced by Guerra
The Rossoneri have been scouring Guerra for years and they see a physically strong midfielder with a high level of technique. He is one of the best prospects in La Liga, and the possibility to secure him on advantageous terms is tempting.
The latest movements suggest that Jashari is the real priority for a midfield that is getting a makeover: Milan are convinced they will reach the finish line for the Swiss international with the latest offer presented to Bruges for €35m.
Yunus Musah is the key for Javi Guerra: once the sale of the American midfielder is completed, Tare will return to trying for the 22-year-old. Guerra is very tempted by the possibility of joining Luka Modric and his teammates.
He will have to give a response – an in a short time – to Valencia regarding the proposal for the renewal of his contract that expires in 2027. At present it seems that Guerra wants a move and he wants Milan, despite the interest from Aston Villa and some Spanish clubs.

They do not sign players for ‘capital gain’, stop peddling this silly fantasy. All major Italian clubs have been selling their best players for over 20 years. That’s the reality of the economic situation in Serie A and this won’t change until a new stadium is built.

I don’t know him, he might be a prospect but imo they’re only chasing him because he’s available at a cutprice and see potential to double up their investment in two season’s time, regardless if he fits the system or not. The same way they went for Reijnders and Musah. One turned out to be bingo, the other not. RLC was a moneyball signing, a player in his prime with glimpses. A potentially undervalued asset.
If we manage to sign Modric, Ricci and Jashari then we should focus on other gaps to fill, and not sign another midfielder
Not only are you assuming the turkey Musah will be sold, you’re also assuming Guerra is the next target when both full back positions are a problem.
Allegri was very clear that Musah is not in his plans. I suspect either a sale or a loan, but seems he has likely played his last match for Milan. I’d be surprised if he stays.
