Hammarby sporting director Jesper Jansson has added fuel to the fire regarding rumours Zlatan Ibrahimovic could join them this summer.
Ibrahimovic is preparing to return to Italy after spending a few weeks in Sweden where he was allowed to train with Hammarby, the side he owns 25% shares of.
On his return he will have to observe 14 days of quarantine before being able to work at Milanello, but his stay in Milan may not last long.
His contract with Milan expires at the end of June and there is no talk at the moment of an imminent renewal, while of course the Stockholm-based club dream of being able to welcome the 38-year-old to their playing staff on a more permanent basis.
In fact their sporting director Jansson has now spoken publicly about the issue to the microphones of Swedish outlet Expressen.
When asked about the rumours, he responded: “I think there is a chance,” according to MilanLive.
