Tuttosport: Harder and Fabbian preferred as Allegri left dreaming of Juventus pair

This summer, there has been a question in the background about signings, and it is only getting louder at AC Milan.

In the past year especially, there have been questions about the direction of Milan, more so in the mercato than anywhere else. Rather than making coach-specific signings, additions have felt more general.

The model of RedBird is a topic which has been analysed, but it seems there are regularly new faults found with it, annoyingly. A €20 million price cap is no good if you are going to keep spending the cap in the hope of finding someone eventually worth more than it.

Of course, this may not be the case with these moves, but it could well be another addition to a long list.

Silence

Now, that debate is being brought up again. Earlier this week, there was a claim from Nicolo Schira that the Rossoneri were not listening to the requests of Massimiliano Allegri. Today, that theory has been visited by Tuttosport, as MilanNews relays.

Conrad Harder and Giovanni Fabbian are the next expected to arrive. However, the report states that Allegri is left with his ‘dreams’ of Dusan Vlahovic and Adrien Rabiot. Both could be brung to Milano this summer.

However, the financial elements of the deal are off-putting in both cases. So it seems Allegri, and Milan in course, may be left dreaming about what could have been.

  1. Brung?

Anyway…it’s absolutely believable that our board are simply telling Tare who to go and sign, regardless of what he and Allegri think.

I haven’t seen Harder play so can’t be critical, and I really like Fabian’s game to be honest, so I’ll stay on the fence for now, but given their age and the fact they’re not finished articles, they might as well shove a for sale sign down their socks because the first profitable offer from England that comes along and they’re on a plane.

    1. So Tare is such a bi*ch someone else is telling him what to do and his neck is on the line? I honestly don’t believe he is such a non man and I value him much more because of that. If what you wrote is true I value him less than the dirt under my fingernails, that I just cleaned.

  2. There’s no €20 million cap. Stop making things up. Every big club in Europe ignored Rabiot and Vlahovic, so it doesn’t matter what Allegri thinks. Management have to build a competitive squad for years to come, not just for Allegri. If Allegri screws up and is sacked then what? Then we have a massive problem – two players on high salaries that no one will touch. Allegri’s been given an excellent squad. He has to make it work and, for a start, he’s not going to make it work by undermining Gimenez, as he has all summer.

    1. Competitive squad for years to come? There will be another “revolution” next summer or the one after. I’d bet a 1000€ on that and it is easy money.

      1. Well, who would have thought. I agree with you 100%. There will be another revolution next Summer, most likely due to the sale of…. Leao?

        1. You can’t predict that, you just know Milan will have a “revolution” as it keeps happening. Since Scudetto this is the 2nd time. And results are getting worse.

          1. Hence the dots….

What I meant is, that next Summer there will be an offer to good to refuse for one of our better players, hence another revolution.

          2. Yes, we agree. However if we look the past they skip a year. But if we are out of CL it is 100% that someone is sold. Now I doubt Leao will be for sale unless Allegri is fired.

  3. So let me get this straight, Allegri ask for players, he gets Temu versions that might become top players in a few years and Tare is the great sporting director? Allegri was desperate to return to management, but just wait a few games (if it doesn’t go well) and when he becomes nervous and starts dishing it out on the management. He won’t take the blame and he’ll be right. Btw Pobega is Ronaldinho and Gattuso combined for Fabbian. The guy is a joke. Harder looks good potentially.

  4. Allegri dreaming of Rabiot and Vlahovic, is a nightmare for anyone else, and would be the holy trifecta of the worst from Juventus.

    1. But Vlahovic will probably join in the summer. If there was no transfer fee involved, and Juventus is asking 35M, he would already be at Milan.

  5. I agree with you on Tare’s character, and I’m not saying that’s what I definitely think is happening, just that it’s easy to imagine Furlani, Moncada and God himself swinging their d**ks.

Gun to my head I’d say the will to listen to Tare was there at the start, and now the balance of power has swung back to those three. I’d like to think Tare is working for Allegri’s interests and if we believe the media (which I grant is a big if), he’s not getting the players he wants, so something is off somewhere.

All speculation on my part and I’m not against a a single signing we’ve made on its own merit, but as a collective it feels like one giant project at a time we really need at least some ready made quality.

  6. And we have to wait for Porto to sign somebody who’s club is waiting to play europa and then they will release him. We’re willing to wait to the last couple of days for harder? What if the deal falls through? I’m sorry taking nothing away from harder and it’s not his fault but the money involved and time we have left I can’t believe this is going to be our solution to a striker. Little bit of Boniface failing his medical makes me sour too.
