We are around the six-month mark of Paulo Fonseca’s reign at AC Milan, and once again, his job is on the line. Does it come as a surprise at this point?
There have already been four huge occasions where Fonseca’s job has come under siege and this probably will not be the last time if he survives, because is it ever?
From the start of the season’s failings to now, there have been continued talks about Fonseca’s position and he is regularly been close to entering a ‘danger zone’ as it were, but ahead of the game against Hellas Verona, he is back in a precarious situation.
This morning, Corriere dello Sport (via Milan News) wrote ‘here we go again’, because this is no new thing for the Rossoneri – we saw it on several occasions with Stefano Pioli last season and already it has repeated with Fonseca.
The Diavolo are in a position where ‘they can no longer make mistakes’ and Fonseca will play an ‘important part of his future’ when his side face Verona.
As the report suggests, failing to win will not be unnoticed and the result ‘could become fatal’, especially considering the reports about the contact with Xavi in recent days, which the report also cites.

as much it hurts this managment wont sack fonseca this season as much as i want him gone he is probaly going to be here this season unless he start to lose every single game
