Hernandez on captaining AC Milan in the future: “It would be a dream”

By Isak Möller -

Theo Hernandez has arguably been AC Milan’s best players thus far this season, performing at a very high level ever since his arrival from Real Madrid in the summer. Certainly, he has revolutionized the Rossoneri’s left side.

With six goals and two assists in 23 games, the numbers speak for themselves. This makes him Milan’s joint-top goalscorer along with Ante Rebic, who has been another successful signing for the San Siro side (although it took him a few months).

On Twitter, Hernandez was asked by a fan about potentially captaining Milan in the future. The Frenchman, of course, expressed his enthusiasm about the idea: “Can you imagine it? It would be a dream”.

The Rossoneri managed to land him for just €20m in the summer (via Transfermarkt), which certainly was a bargain. In fact, he’s most likely worth double that by now, as many big clubs are keeping their eyes on him. However, he could stay at Milan for long.
