HLN: De Ketelaere close to joining Milan after latest bid – the terms of the deal

By Oliver Fisher -

It seems that confirmation has now arrived from Belgium that Charles De Ketelaere should soon be an AC Milan player, a report claims.

According to what is reported by HLN (via SempreMilan.it) – who confirm the information from La Gazzetta dello Sport – an agreement between Club Brugge and Milan is imminent and De Ketelaere should soon finally fly to Italy and join the Rossoneri.

The Belgian playmaker should sign a five-year contract of €2.3m net per season with Milan after agreement was found on the basis of an offer worth €31m plus €4m bonuses and a percentage on the future resale in favour of the Belgian club.

HLN added that De Ketelaere will now have two weeks to prepare for the first game of the season against Udinese on August 13, with the 21-year-old no doubt eager to meet his new team-mates and throw himself into a new adventure with the Italian champions.

  1. Waoo….interesting but kipping my finger crossed. Pray he fulfils his original potential..best of luck CDK. Forza Milan!!!

  2. It was always going to end up with CDK going to Milan. But I’ve never witnessed such protracted haggling over a transfer before. Hopefully Milan will get more funds soon. Otherwise to continue in this way will lose them some important targets and their reputation with selling clubs for lowballing and time wasting will precede them. How many lunches did Maldivian have to get to this point?
