HLN Sport: Burnley boss Kompany wants Origi as Milan reject Torino bid

There is concrete interest from Burnley in signing Divock Origi, a report claims, while AC Milan have already turned down an offer from Torino.

According to the latest from HLN Sport, Origi is hoping to agree a way out of his ‘Milan nightmare’ before the window closes in four days, and Vincent Kompany wants his compatriot at Burnley with both a loan-with-option and a permanent deal possible.

Burnley will push for an agreement in the coming days, but must bear in mind that Milan already refused an offer from Torino which included an initial loan with option to buy.

There is also interest from Saudi Arabia for Origi from Al Fateh, Jason Denayer’s club. They have enquired about the operation, but Origi seems to prefer the idea of staying in Europe.

He also has one eye on the European Championship next summer, meaning he is looking for a good project in which he can get more playing time and grow back to his best form.

Origi, for the love of god don’t let your ego get in the way of this move. The manager knows you well, you’ll be back in the EPL and you’ll likely gey plenty of minutes.

It’s time for your incredible era at San Siro to end. We will remember you alongside Sheva, Weah and van Basten as a truly great striker. Now please f off.
