Lucas Biglia is facing yet another stop. Having just recovered, the Argentine midfielder was the victim of bad luck once again as he sustained an injury during today’s training session.
As our reporter Vito Angele stated earlier today, the 34-year-old is suffering from a distortion trauma, which involves a ligament in his right knee. By the looks of it, he could be out for the rest of the season.
Ever since his arrival from Lazio in 2017, Biglia has been very injury-prone and the Rossoneri can’t be too happy with their investment. Per Transfermarkt, he has missed a total of 40 games due to injury in just over two and a half seasons.
Of course, if he’s out for the rest of the season, his tally will surpass 50 games. Having paid a total of €40m for the player, between transfer fee and wages, it can only be seen as a failure for both parties.
