CM: ‘Hunting for a record’ – Fonseca tempted by the idea of Camarda vs. Parma

Francesco Camarda is a consistently hot topic at AC Milan, and after Alvaro Morata’s injury, there could be a chance for him in the limelight once again.

It is nearly nine months since the starlet debuted in Serie A, and there has been a distant question about when his next successful call-up will be. It seems that over the next few weeks, there could be a second appearance.

Alvaro Morata is set to miss a few weeks through injury, and reports have suggested that the 16-year-old is being considered to feature in some capacity during the Spaniard’s absence. However, whether he will actually play any minutes is unknown, but the idea is gaining traction.

According to Calciomercato.com, Camarda could be the pawn in a match if needed, and the idea is ‘gaining more and more ground’ in Fonseca’s mind. Of course, an away trip is difficult, and the report suggests that there are several complexities attached to the Parma fixture, but it provides an experience.

Given the Futuro squad makes their Serie C debut on Sunday evening, the youngster can be involved in some capacity in both games, the report suggests, and there is a target in sight for Camarda. That being becoming the youngest Milan goalscorer, a record which has stood for 64 years.

At 16 years and 164 days, he has 201 days to break the record which is currently held by Gianni Rivera, but a Milan goal this early in his career would establish his name in the history books for a significant amount of time.

  1. Yes, give chance for Camarda, totally agree.

And give Chuk one more chance. If he still unimpressive, get Puli on right, and for no. 10 give it a chance for Liberali.

And play all the new recruitment too. Lets get new things work right now.

Hope Fonseca have guts to change the starting eleven, and give more chances to our youngsters.

    Time to change

  2. Stupid idea to play camarda against parma this wkend. Lad is still young and will be lost in a tough serie A match.

  3. The beginning of failure. We need matured players to start our games and get the necessary points first and gradually integrate the youngsters into the squad and match
Losing points may stand against us in the future

  4. Too many fans putting affection into reality… This is not a romance story. its the Italian Seria A..

Yes the tempo most have reduced compare to then due to lack of quality defenders in Italy.. We all can still remember what kills Pato beautiful career. Camarda is just to young giving him some minutes can not be ruled out but starting the match is a NO NO for me.

I believe none of us want him to be forgotten so soon. Pato career was over at 24yrs when he left Milan. He would have been Nazario Delima reborn in the Brazilian team after him Brazil haven’t had a skilled goal proven number 9 except their wingers that have been performing miracles

  5. Camarda is still only 16. He doesn’t have the muscle development to regularly play several minutes with the big grown-up center backs in Serie A. That’s inviting disaster and damage. I don’t have anything against short cameos up to 10 minutes when the win has already been sealed but he is not yet starting material with the first team, for his own sake.
