Zlatan Ibrahimovic is never far away from the media spotlight, but the headlines surrounding him in recent days have been worrying.
Firstly, it emerged from several sources that Massimiliano Allegri has fallen out with Ibrahimovic and that the pair are no longer on speaking terms. It stems from conversations that the Swede had behind the coach’s back, with players and with vocal Allegri critic Antonio Cassano.

Despite this, there have also been stories suggesting that Gerry Cardinale intends to give more power to Zlatan, who he sees as his trusted right-hand man. That was the case until today, when there seems to be a suggestion the former striker could actually fall victim to the managerial cull.

I want to know the name of the person who has direct knowledge of Ibra telling players they were not in ACM’s plans going forward. Or, is it just an Italian bro reporter saying it? With something this damming the reporter making an unsupported accusation is irresponsible. Cassano says he talks to Ibra all the time as friends and he never said this to him. So, who is saying that Ibra said this to him or which player(s) told this to the reporter? This has a very Italian feel of undermining someone. Again, I’m half Italian, grew up up in an east coast Italian neighborhood and went to school in Italy for a year. So I’ve got some experience with how Italians operate. Dietrologia.
Well I’m not saying its correct but you could also argue that Cassano might be lying or trying to help out his mate. One thing we are absolutely sure about though is that Cassano has consistently been a thorn in our sides since he left the club so quite frankly I wouldn’t give a damn about what he has to say about AC Milan, our coaches or players as he comes down as a biased and untrustworthy clown.
The point remains that the reporter throws out a serious accusation without backing it up. Yes, Cassano is a loose screw at times, but still if you are making this allegation just back it up.
Well even though I understand your sentiment its also pretty common practice to have sources within journalism and revealing such source within a company would both mean the sacking of the source and loss of chances to get future info so nothing really surprising there as that is how it in some instances works. Not a sports reference here but to my knowledge Deep Throat of the Watergate scandal was first revealed decade after the affair.
Either way my initial point was more that your argumentation could be reversed in regard of Cassano and just because he knows Ibra doesn’t mean he speaks the throuth either.
Last but not least I wasn’t exactly in favor of bringing Allegri back in but I nevertheless prefer us to see some consistency and that comes from someone who always pretty much hated the 3-5-2 formation.

I guess you are ok with unsubstantiated allegations. Cassano makes the point that Allegri is mobilizing his friends to go after Ibra. Deep throat is a good example. He provided leads for the reporters to follow. They didn’t just take him at face value. Sources need to be confirm. The article I read was pretty weak.
Well as I said I didn’t say it was correct and of course I’m not ok with unsubstancial allegations but Cassanos comment isn’t of much more value either.
Either way it wasn’t my intention to actually champion either of them but the core of the argument goes in a two way direction.
If i Cardinale and choose i will take Ibra.
Alegri will go soon or late and he is coach should do with players what he have at club. He not make any player better at this year. He is good coach but if i choose Ibra is better option for me at every way like a man with dignity,younger and players always will respect more Ibra then Alegri.
The problem is Ibra does not have full power. He has all the knowledge and right ideas, but he ends up having to accept the ideas of Tare and Furlani instead. This confusion needs to end. Give Ibra FULL CONTROL of the team!!
