It seemed AC Milan may be heading towards a more Portuguese look this summer. However, the Rossoneri may actually be heading elsewhere.

There have been several links to Portuguese talents in recent days, especially since the arrival of Ruben Amorim. In fact, it seems the mercato could be powered by super agent Jorge Mendes, who represents a lot of the country’s top talents.

Of course, this would also include those playing in Portugal, too.

Yet, this may not be the only country in focus for Milan…

Swedes to San Siro?

According to Luca Cohen, via MilanPosts on X, the Rossoneri – or better yet, Zlatan Ibrahimovic – is keen on adding two Swedes to the team. The first would be Lucas Bergvall, who has already been heavily reported.

Now, it seems he would like to add Daniel Svensson to the team. The Dortmund full-back played 33 times for BVB last season, contributing four goals for the second season in a row. Additionally, he grabbed two Champions League goals.

At the World Cup, he has only played a minute, but that has not altered the Swede’s interest. Considering he plays more on the left, you’d have to think about what it means for Davide Bartesaghi. However, the interest seems to be there from Ibrahimovic and there are no suggestions as to how far it’ll go.
