Zlatan Ibrahimovic continues to be linked with a return to AC Milan in an off-field role having retired from football, and he answered a question regarding the rumours.
Some sources are claiming it is only a matter of time before Ibrahimovic’s return to Milan is officially announced. The Swede has been linked with a role which would see him be the glue between the management and the squad.
Owner Gerry Cardinale is believed to have held multiple rounds of talks with Ibrahimovic, which is a testament to how much he values the knowledge and experience the striker accrued during his illustrious playing career.
Ibrahimovic was a guest at the Formula One Grand Prix in Las Vegas and spoke to Sky from the pit lane before the race, with his comments relayed by PianetaMilan.
“I’m happy to be here, everyone knows I’m a big Ferrari fan. In America the marketing is different, it’s all exaggerated in a positive way,” he said.
“Here it’s a spectacle and we hope that the match is the same. Milan? Let’s see, let’s see… let’s talk, let’s talk.”
