Ibrahimovic brands Juventus ‘lucky’ in tirade; believes he would have won Milan the Scudetto

AC Milan star Zlatan Ibrahimovic has claimed he has felt like a ‘president, player and coach’ since his return to the Rossoneri.

Milan produced a stunning second-half comeback at San Siro on Tuesday night as they recovered from 2-0 down to beat the league-leaders 4-2.

After a goalless first half it looked as though the Bianconeri would be extending their lead at the top of the table as Adrien Rabiot and Cristiano Ronaldo struck before the hour mark.

Nonetheless the Rossoneri roared back, netting three times in just over five minutes through a Zlatan Ibrahimovic penalty and two excellent strikes from Franck Kessie and Rafael Leao.

Ante Rebic had the final say in a thrilling encounter as he continued his ridiculous run of form as Milan won to rise into fifth above Roma and Sunday’s opponents Napoli.

“I’m old, that’s no secret! Age is just a number. I am working well, getting a good balance, I played more today than the last game. I feel good, to be honest, and I am trying to help the team in every way,” Ibrahimovic told DAZN (via Football Italia).

“I am President, player and coach! The only negative is that I only get paid for being a player!

“They [Juventus] are lucky, if I had been here from the first day we would have won the Scudetto”.

“My future? We’ll see, we’ll see. There is a month still to enjoy myself, but there is a strange situation going on and we are not in control of that.

“I don’t know if the fans have seen me live for the last time. It could well be, yes. Why? Read between the lines.

“I am really enjoying myself at Milan, as I went to America, I got injured, I wanted to feel alive. I’m 38 years old, I don’t have the physique that I had, but I am smart about it. I don’t try to do the same things I did when I was 20.

“If I don’t make the difference, then I don’t like that. I am not here to be a mascot. I am here to help my teammates, club and fans.”
