Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s role at AC Milan has regularly been scrutinised, and there are now suggestions that the Swede could depart from his role at the club.
Throughout the past year, Ibrahimovic has been a criticised member of the management, largely due to the confusion about his role. Even now, we find out new parts of his role, but with Milan struggling, the Rossoneri are left looking for targets.
Of course, as someone who has been as present as Zlatan, he has become an easy target for frustration, however, he has not helped himself with suggestions that he has clashed with head coaches and members of the management.
Recently, this much has been true again, with Ibra reportedly clashing with Giorgio Furlani, which resulted in the Italian being given control of some big decisions, and this decision, made by Gerry Cardinale, could have consequences.
As Calciomercato.com reports, the former striker is taking a week to work out his future at the club, especially now that he has a role lower than that of the CEO of the club – something which we are unsure of Zlatan’s feelings on.
The next 15 days are set to be vital to the future of the club, and the decision of Ibrahimovic will play a part.
Whoever brought Sottil instead of Fagioli should resign himself.
1 swallow doesn’t make a summer
Fagioli? Isn’t that the guy that got himself out of the betting punishment by snitching out on his Italy teammates? No, thank you. Why do you want rats in Milan?
Between Ibra and Furlani, Furlani is more important to the club, he has managed to steady the clubs finances , and the day to day running, he is a representative of Elliott and he is also a very good generator of capital.
Ibra can easily be replaced with someone more competent, but right now in Europe finding someone who is good at managing club finances is hard..
Gazidis has done that, Furlani can bot claim that at all.
🎯
You know nothing, it was not furlani and he has done nothing but brought the club down.
It was in gazidis and Maldini time when the club got financial gains.
And furlani is the reason why Maldini was kicked.
Yes.. furlani. Is a perfect CFO
Exactly what Milanezi wrote. He was assisting Gazidis and learning. He didn’t learn enough.
He’s not an employee of AC Milan but RedBird. He can go and play Gerry’s mascot wherever he likes to as long as it’s far away from AC Milan’s lockeroom or Milanello.
Ibra has caused nothing but problems since he’s joined. Reports of clashes with abate, with fonseca, with conceicao, with players. Who is the common denominator here? Bring in a technical director who controls the market. Furlani signs off on it and everyone is happy. There’s no way Furlani can be in charge of who goes and who arrives, he has no football knowledge. Just making sure the finances are steady.
Leave Zlatan, bring your high tone also. Don’t forget bring Cardinale, Furlani, Moncada and Redbird OUT!!

When gazidis and MaLdini were running… furlani was around from the elliot side
Best news for ages. Ibra has been a complete and utter flop and the sooner he leaves, the better.
For sure he was involved in the choice of fonseca and concencaio …. and we all know how clever these choices were.
He speaks and projects himself (and milan) in an arrogant and insulting manner ….. and the sooner he consigns himself to a thrash can, milan fans worldwide should sing hallelujah.
Zlatan has always been fhat way for good or for bad… mostly for good.. but I dont think 8ts zlatans fault alone….. the org chart was unclear from the start…
He wanted conte not fonseca but still he has caused more confusion than anything. I think they should bring back Maldini but it’s not happening. So far Ibra has only been good in helping to attract players
Ibra is not a subordinate of Furlani. Furlani is not a subordinate of Ibra. Advisor to the owner is not subordinate to CEO and vice versa.
