AC Milan are expected to secure the renewal of Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the next couple of weeks, according to a report.
Today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanLive) writes that Ibrahimovic is ready to sign new terms with Milan. He is currently in Sweden, but within 7-10 days he should be back in Italy and will sign his deal.
Things are so far along that an announcement is scheduled for this week or at the beginning of next week, and it has transpired that there are already people working on the announcement videos.
The paper does not mention a specific salary, but it is expected to be a much lower fixed sum than what he has earned in the last couple of seasons, with bonuses related to specific aspects (appearances, goals and assists) to bump it up.
Zlatan also qualifies for the tax relief allowed by the well-known Growth Decree which makes things less financially burdening for the Rossoneri.
