Igli Tare has signed his contract and will become the new sporting director of AC Milan, with just the official announcement missing.
According to Matteo Moretto of Relevo, Tare has now put pen to paper on his deal with Milan, thus ensuring that he will become Milan’s new sporting director. It is the first role for the Albanian since he left Lazio in 2023, after over a decade with the Roman club.

Tare was initially believed to be close to joining Milan last month after two meetings with CEO Giorgio Furlani before things went quiet. Now, presumably after evaluating other candidates too, the acceleration has come.
On Wednesday, Moretto stated that Tare was ready to sign a three-year contract – two of which are guaranteed, and the other an option. He will earn around €800k net per season in salary.
Calciomercato.com‘s Daniele Longo is also reporting that Tare has signed the contract that will bind him to Milan for the next three years.

This. Say whatever you will about Tare successes and failures, he’s got loads of experience as a DS, as opposed to the dilettantes who are currently in charge. That is already an improvement.

Called it a while ago. Anyways good luck and best of luck. You’ll need it..Milan is a different beast than Lazio. Hope he understands that and can handle well. Hey at least we got an SD. Might not be my top pick/profile but at least sense seems to finally be creeping in.
