AC Milan are still trying to land Nicolo Zaniolo from Roma but there is currently a huge difference between the offer and the asking price, a report claims.
Today’s edition of Il Tempo (via SempreMilan.it) takes stock of the negotiation between Milan and Roma for Zaniolo. The Italian playmaker – whose contract expires in 2024 – does not seem interested in signing any renewal with the Giallorossi, and they in turn do not consider the 22-year-old to be unsellable.
Milan are interested and have submitted an offer worth €35m plus bonuses in an attempt to win Roma over, but the asking price at the moment is €60m and – barring twists and turns in the coming months – there is a gap that is very unlikely to be bridged.
Although Ricky Massara and Paolo Maldini like Zaniolo a lot, they are is not willing to put on the table an amount exceeding €35m (including a counterpart) for the Italy international, especially given his two cruciate ligament injuries at such a young age.
Good. Let’s keep it that way. The gap I mean.
Not happening, move on to look at someone else please
Roman has valued him for 80mil as of today😂.
I’m loving every bit of it. We should be looking gunning for the CDK right now with those funds.
