AC Milan are expected to make several sales in the coming weeks, but as highlighted by a report, at least a couple of signings are needed as well.
After the draws against Celtic and Inter, the result of so-so performances, Milan suffered a big defeat in their friendly against Chelsea yesterday (0-3). A lot of the Rossoneri’s flaws were highlighted, with a clear need for reinforcements before the season begins.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport this morning (via MilanNews), Milan have a surplus of about ten players, so many will have to leave between now and the end of the transfer window. However, this will also open up space for new signings, with some players targeted.
Four players targeted
For the defence, Goncalo Inacio (Sporting) remains on Milan’s wish list but his price tag of €40m is a problem, as per the newspaper. The Danish international Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg (Marseille) could be the right signing for the midfield, and he has given his approval to the move already.
Further up the pitch, more specifically the attacking midfielder role, contacts took place with the agents of Matias Soule (Roma) and Dario Osorio (Midtjylland). Work is thus underway to reinforce the team, but first, sales are needed to make space and collect some cash.
Just two weeks remain until the season opener against Torino, so it would be fair to describe the situation as a race against time.
In hindsight, we all see that Cardinale just went to overpay for Ramos, not just overpaying he just used up the whole transfer budget for one signing and we are stranded 😂, and now we don’t have anyone to help us offload deadweights.

Allegri used to ask for an experienced defender (preferably left-footed), a midfielder who could score goals, a physically strong forward, and a good fullback. Now, Amorim’s requests aren’t much different. This means AC Milan’s squad is truly lacking. The question is, will AC Milan’s executives meet Amorim’s requests?
I think they just have to take small capital loss so they can attract offers for deadwood players.

RN sell who ever has offer or enquires and try to bring players that Amorim will approve. Bc Hojbjerg isn’t Amorim type of player Soule is overpriced and Inacio isn’t suitable anymore since we got Diawara and we have Pavlovic
Inacio is too expensive for us, I’m afraid. Get a free agent or some low-cost solution for a LWB, MC and SC and leave money for a DC and right AMC, it can still be done, there is time.
The only point of articles like this can be to somehow boost the morale of the fans when it is completely clear that we are financially blocked and we have to sell players first!
I don’t understand why we don’t get free agents in and blood the youth. Instead every season 20m mediocre players bought to give to depth to the squad but then they’re on the books. Maldini was right when he said we just need a couple of quality players in to raise the level. Since then we must have made 30/40 signings who weigh on the balance sheet, can’t be sold. Get the youth in do a season or 2 of free agents with experience and stockpile that cash to make some major moves by which point the kids will be well versed in seria a
I am convinced that this club is a money laundering vehicle cus looking in hindsight, we could have built a solid half team if we took advantage of free transfers, but for some odd reasons we just seem to not be interested. Even players on a cheap that fan can immediately improve the team, we seem to not want, I just had to conclude that the owners don’t want the club to progress.
