Instagram launch, cup action and a title push: News about the AC Milan Women

By Steph Insixiengmay -

The AC Milan Women are currently on a break after the first part of their season finished, which feels like a good time to recap the latest goings on.

Below is a round-up of the latest news regarding the Rossonere:

➤ AC Milan have officially launched an Instagram page for their women’s team. The team had previously only had single accounts on the major social media platforms that posted about both the men’s and women’s first teams. Now, the team officially has an account for the women’s team.

➤ The Rossonere have finished the first half of the season in fourth place. As a result, they have qualified for the second half of the season and will play in the Poule Scudetto (‘Title Round’).

In this round-robin tournament, Milan will not only play for the Scudetto but the right to play in the next season’s Champion’s League. The competition will commence on the weekend of March 18th-19th.

➤ Milan will be in action before then though. They’ll take on AS Roma this Sunday in the semifinal of the Coppa Italia. Kickoff time will be at 14:00 CET and will be streamed globally on La7.
