AC Milan are not the only team with some injury concerns heading into Saturday’s deby, as Inter are preparing for the game with a couple of doubts.
As our colleagues at SempreMilan.it write, Juan Cuadrado suffered a calf issue in Colombia’s game against Venezuela match, going off at half-time. Exams ruled out a serious issue, but the midfielder preferred to return to Milan as a precaution.
Alexis Sanchez on the other hand missed Chile’s match in Uruguay due to anemia, a problem which has plagued him for some time. The striker has not trained with his team-mates and may not be in action against Bolivia on Tuesday.
In both cases, Inter will carefully monitor their recovery and hope to have them back for the game against their city rivals, even if they are able to provide options off the bench and wouldn’t usually start in Simone Inzaghi’s 3-5-2 formation.
