MN: Inter to assess fitness of three key players ahead of Supercoppa clash with Milan

By Euan Burns -

Inter are set to assess the fitness of Marcelo Brozovic, Romelu Lukaku and Denzel Dumfries ahead of the Supercoppa Italiana final against AC Milan, a report claims.

As has been reported by Milan News, the Nerazzurri are potentially going to be without three players that Simone Inzaghi would ideally start in every game.

Brozovic has been out for some time with his injury and it seems highly unlikely that he will play a role in Saudi Arabia against Milan.

Lukaku’s fresh injury has seen him miss another couple of games but he is not ruled out of the Supercoppa just yet. Dumfries is in a similar position but could still feature.

The Inter team left for Riyadh at 15:00 CET on Sunday with the game set to take place at 20:00 CET on Wednesday, January 18.

It sees the last Serie A winners, Milan, come up against the most recent Coppa Italia winners, Inter.
