AC Milan could be left red-faced again by their biggest rivals, this time in another key area on the pitch…
As the mercato came towards its end, a new name emerged at the back, Manuel Akanji, the Manchester City defender who had been told to find a new club. Milan made an offer, which was accepted. However, the Rossoneri could not agree on personal terms.

On deadline day, he then signed for Inter, stating that it was ‘really easy to choose this club’. Another to add to the list of maybes that have headed for the city rivals. However, a bigger blow could arrive in the next 12 months.
Inter for Vlahovic?
With Massimiliano Allegri’s hiring and the persistent links to Dusan Vlahovic this summer, you would imagine that the Diavolo would be the favourites to sign him in 12 months, if his contract with Juventus is allowed to expire.

This may not be the case, though. As Calciomercato.com write, a ‘crazy’ idea has been started with the Nerazzurri: to bring Vlahovic to Inter. According to Fabiana Delle Valle, Beppe Marotta has explored the idea of signing him as a free agent next summer.
His entourage have, importantly, already expressed their approval and willingness to listen to the offers. So, Inter are now in the running for Vlahovic, as are Milan…

Well, by then hopefully Camarda will be back, all ready to start, and will be fully integrated to the first team. I look forward to seeing Camarda score more for Milan than Vlahovic for Inter.
Camarda won’t score 20 Serie A goals in total in his next 2-3 years.
Neither will has-been Vlahovic. I just said “more than Vlahovic.”
Yeah ppl are put unrealistic expectations on camarda. He’s 18, if he gets close to ten goals that’s a huge positive but also nowhere near what Milan need as an upgrade at striker. If he’s handled well I can see him being top quality in a couple years. if lecce goes well and Milan make Europe then bring him back to be a back up striker (true backup not a bench warmer) a couple of seasons without pressure to play for Milan is what this kid needs next not being asked to be at Vlahovic’s level right off the bat.
Well spoken bro
Cutrone managed to score double digits on his first proper season in a crappy squad. Camarda was even deadlier in the youth leagues than Cutrone. Although it means absolutely nothing when it comes to playing with the “big boys” now.
Forget him.
I think Saudi is more likely given Vlahovic is a big fan of money. What a waste.
Hope Inter does sign him. That means either Lautaro or Thurman is gone.
And they’re both way better than DV.
^^ Thuram
Inter loves free transfers, but Vlahovic is the highest paid in Serie A, and we don’t want anything close to that on our books. He’d most likely be a sub anyway, so it’s a waste of time imo. Inter need 2 cams or lw/rw
