Inter held as clear favourites by betting companies to win derby over Milan

The Derby Della Madonnina is upon us, a game notoriously hard to predict and subsequently to bet on. It will be one of the biggest derbies in many years, with Milan and Inter both fighting at the top of the table.

As you would expect, Inter are the favourites to win the game per the betting odds, meaning there could be scope for a good payout if Milan win. But if you’re not a betting man, you can always try your luck with casino games, easily found at Kubet im.

The Rossoneri have struggled a bit as of late while the Nerazzurri have picked themselves up from what was a rather chaotic start to the season. The head-start they allowed their city rivals, therefore, is now gone and is reflected in the standings.

This is what makes tomorrow’s clash so big, as the winner will be given a huge confidence boost and also secure first place. After many years of poor-quality derbies, though they haven’t lacked passion, the teams are now back at the top.

In his pre-match conference, Stefano Pioli spoke about the importance of the game and that they have worked hard to prepare in the best way. However, he also stated that the season is long and that the clash isn’t decisive.

“It’s a very important game, we can get back in the lead. It won’t be a decisive match, but it’s very important. We are doing everything possible to be able to prepare well. We are convinced that it’s the best preparation and that we have done everything to be ready for this challenge,” he stated.

However, the Rossoneri’s recent dip in form hasn’t gone unnoticed and there are some doubts about how they will handle high pressing. It’s not exactly a surprise, in other words, that Inter are considered the favourites to win the game.

Bet365 have the Nerazzurri at 1.90 times the money, while Milan are at 3.75. Unibet have Milan at the same value but Inter at 1.97. You get the picture: it would be surprising if Pioli’s men can get away with all three points tomorrow.

Having said that, it’s far from impossible and Milan have a good chance of winning this game. Until Ibrahimovic was sent off in the Coppa Italia clash, it seemed like they would be able to preserve their lead and advance to the next round.

Therefore, despite what the odds suggest, the Rossoneri fans certainly shouldn’t give up hope. Instead, we should all enjoy what most likely will be a very entertaining clash.
