AC Milan face competition from their city rivals Inter in the battle to sign Kristjan Asllani from Empoli, according to a report.
Asllani is having a great first season in Serie A under Aurelio Andreazzoli’s guidance would he has attracted the attention of Inter as well as Milan, according to today’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews).
The paper claims that the Albanian would be an option for the Nerazzurri if Ausilio and Baccin decide to opt for a young reinforcement who can be a deputy to Marcelo Brozovic in the role of regista.
The negotiation could include Lucien Agoumé who is having a good season with Brest on loan, so Milan will be wary of losing out on the 20-year-old to their city and Scudetto rivals.
As our colleagues at SempreMilan.it reported recently, Milan have excellent relations with Empoli as seen by the Rade Krunic and Ismael Bennacer deals, and this could represent the accelerator that could allow Milan to overcome the competition of Inter.
